Intern at Maisonneuve: Winter-Spring 2013
Dec. 18, 2012Attention, all keeners: Maisonneuve is now accepting applications for our six-month Winter-Spring internships. We’re looking for enthusiastic, well-informed interns with a passion for magazines and serious writing chops. Candidates don’t need to have studied journalism or literature, but they must have some writing experience (student media, blogging, freelance, etc.) and familiarity with both the print and online versions of the magazine.
Intern responsibilities include fact-checking, proofreading, writing for the website and print version of the magazine, coordinating events and various other Maisonneuve-related duties. The position is part-time and unpaid, and the internship lasts from mid-January to the end of June. Candidates must speak and write English fluently and live in Montreal. Hours are flexible. (A working knowledge of French is a plus, but not a requirement.)
