First prize: a cash prize of one thousand five-hundred dollars ($1,500); one broadcast of your story on CBC Radio's Cinq à Six; and publication in Maisonneuve magazine, in an anthology published by Véhicule Press, and on CBC.ca.

Second prize: a cash prize of one thousand dollars ($1,000); one broadcast of your story on CBC Radio's Cinq à Six;and publication on the Maisonneuve magazine website, in an anthology published by Véhicule Press, and on CBC.ca.

A third "Reader's Choice" prize of $300 will be awarded to the story that receives the most public votes.
