Intern at Maisonneuve: Winter-Spring 2015
Jan. 5, 2015Attention, all keeners: Maisonneuve is now accepting applications for part-time research interns. We’re looking for enthusiastic, well-informed interns with a passion for magazines and serious writing chops. Candidates don’t need to have studied journalism or literature, but they must have some writing experience (student media, blogging, freelance, etc.) and familiarity with both the print and online versions of the magazine.
Research interns will work part-time while the magazine is in production for our Spring and Summer issues, January through June. Responsibilities include fact-checking, proofreading, writing for the website and print version of the magazine, coordinating events and various other Maisonneuve-related duties. Candidates must speak and write English fluently and live in Montreal. Hours are flexible. (A working knowledge of French is a plus, but not a requirement.)
This position pays a modest honorarium.
