He's far too modest to announce this himself, but Maisonneuve editor-in-chief Carmine Starnino received today a Governor-General's Award nomination for his recent poetry collection This Way Out. As the Globe and Mail has written, the "excellence of Starnino's enjambment, the infectious bounce and thwack of his lines, and his canny ability to find the mots justes...all indicate a craftsmanship of profound dexterity."
