Every year, the Quebec Writing Competition seeks the best unpublished English-language short stories from around the province, and now, the ten shortlisted stories are available online.

The winners will be announced at the annual Quebec Writing Federation Literary Awards Gala on November 19th, but you can help determine which writer will take home the QWC Reader's Choice Prize. Vote for your favourite story before November 14th, and you'll be entered to win a ticket to the gala, a gift certificate to Rasoi in St Henri, a set of the QWC anthologies from Vehicule press and, hey, a one-year subscription to Maisonneuve!
