Our Winter 2008 issue included a personal essay called "What We Eat" by Pasha Malla concerning a bizarre video of a pelican in London that chows down a live pigeon. Knowing what we know about the cheeky duplicities of his writing, we had doubts about veracity of that video. Turns out the damn thing exists.
