Congratulations to Richard Kelly Kemick, whose Maisonneuve story, "The Most Human Part of You," is a 2017 Journey Prize finalist. 

Richard is one of three finalists; Sharon Bala's story, "Butter Tea at Starbucks" (published by the New Quarterly) and Darlene Naponse's story, "She Is Water" (published by the Malahat Review), join "The Most Human Part of You" on the shortlist. 

This year's jury included writers Kevin Hardcastle, Grace O’Connell, and Ayelet Tsabari. The 2017 Journey Prize winner will be announced on November 14!
